Out of 63 sales in the past 90 days, only 21 have left feedback. The buyers are not leaving feedback for anyone.
For a total of 5834 sales/purchases, I have only received 3133 from buyers, that is 2701 less than I gave out. It is getting less and less every day that buyers are leaving feedback. I almost wish they would just go to total transactions. Feedback would then be a bonus.

Who is "they"? eBay doesn't use feedback for any type of seller metrics. If you mean buyers, they can see your total transactions on the new feedback display page.
FYI - 21 out of 63 is actually pretty reasonable, 3133 out of 5834 (53.7) is REALLY good these days.
It's true that fewer and fewer buyers leave feedback, the reasons are obvious, buyers are inundated with feedback requests, survey requests etc from just about every retailer they patronize. I did some grocery shopping yesterday, went to 3 different stores and ALL of them gave me some form of request for feedback and/or request for a review. I got my car fixed last month, of course I got a follow up email asking for a Google review, on the grocery run I used some points to pay at one store, they gave me a "coupon" to win more points if I completed the survey, after I got home I got a message from the points card asking me to rate my "shopping experience".
Bottom line is that most consumers are bombarded with this type of request, usually there is nothing in it for the buyer and most people have better things to do that hand out meaningless feedback.
Of course most sellers like to see their feedback number rise but what does it get you? What difference is there if you have 5000 feedback instead of 3000? Do you think buyers care or even notice?

Very common thread always coming back. The feedback system is outdated. Positive feedbacks are pre written meaningless automated feedbacks. No one cares. When buying you look for negatives, not the positives, they are the ones telling you something. Buyers has nothing to gain and only time to lose from leaving A+++ meaningless feedbacks.
That being said you do not have so much to complain about, you have a score of 3000 and in only 5.6k sold. Over my 2 selling accounts i did around 1000 sales now, and i did not reached 200 score on neither of them. 21 out of 63 is 33%, which is pretty sure over the average. Personally i receive 15-20%. The average is probably in the 20%. Personally i tried everything. Ship same day, add gifts, use new supplies only, nothing change nothing. I tried to solicitate feedbacks from old orders too, works maybe 1 out of 20 messages. No one cares, this system is just outdated.

The usefulness of feedback is a mixture of Feedback Left for Others, which gives a snapshot of the member's personality for buyers, and negs and neutrals for sellers, giving a picture of their customer service(including Responses, which smart sellers never give).
But 40% was the norm back in the halcyon days of the 20th century and it has dropped since for the reasons @recped gives.
Of course, you are wise in the ways of eBay and would never ask a buyer for feedback, because you might just get it.

Ebay recently started even to hide feedback. You need to click on "see all feedback" to access the older ones.
BTW, the access to full feedback might result in less sales. I refused several good offers, only because the buyer left too many negative or neutral feedbacks to other sellers.

eBay has an automatic feedback feature, but I think it is only for newer accounts. Or maybe it is a .com thing. Meaning, if a buyer does not leave a negative or open a return, the seller is automatically awarded a positive after the transaction times out.
It is normal to only get feedback for about 1/4th of your orders. Most buyers don't live on eBay, and don't view feedback as compulsory.

Buyers never did leave feedback.
Only about 40% of transactions get any FB, and I suspect most of that is from sellers.
Use FB to stroke your buyers' fragile egos and don't bother looking at it otherwise.

Pretty much the only thing I now get off ebay are my quarterly "bonus" shipping supplies. From personal observation I get a reminder to leave feedback within 24 hrs of confirmed delivery. The only reminders I get to leave feedback are transactions where customer didn't pay. (Few times I have gotten after the fact when customer has paid and then decided on a different shipping method and then cancelled.) Unsure why it would be mandatory to leave feedback for a transaction that went off the rails but just how eBay works.
For me the biggest downgrade to feedback besides not being able to leave negs or neutrals where applicable is when checking feedback the removal of listing info the feedback was tied to (Left by buyer). In many cases the type of item can affect the feedback left very easily. Example. Customer orders a small item. Only worth shipping by letter rates. It was either slow or late. If I saw that item was low value I would disregard that as "non-serious" feedback. Sellers can only control so much over the course of a transaction. Just saying feedback needs context.
Examples:
+Hope to deal with you again. Thank you
+Good buyer, prompt payment, valued customer, highly recommended.
-Item not received? (Used not to shame but to give an example of without context.)
Also would be nice if there was a straight forward way to amend feedback after the fact. Unfortunately undo/correct is not a standard option when it comes to most things eBay related. And majority of eBay has limited options when it comes to choice.
