FYI Time lag between ebay purchase and paypal payment showing up on PAYPAL

Just a note to advise, I've a sale an hour ago, shows paid in ebay, but nothing has shown up in PAYPAL yet (I logged into PAYPAL to be sure, no paypal email either of course).

This has happened in the past, am only mentioning it as an FYI.

Timing is bad for me today as I'm about to make my mail run and I want to include this one. I may take the chance that the paypal receipt when it shows up matches the ebay address, which it 99,9% of the time does....

Just got to PAYPAL now, just over an hour lag time....must be lotsa people paying with paypal on black friday!!!

yep me too, sold a couple of items, and it says payment received in ebay, but nothing from paypal , yet..

Hello...Very sorry to report but Paypal has started to send payments with Canadapost. There may or may not be a delay for your payment arriving!!  Sorry for any inconvenience.  Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

It might be too soon (to celebrate) for some but some good old gallows humour always appealed to me.

Noon Monday, I will cheer. And loudly if orders resume but that all depends on whether the Canadian shopping public will trust postal workers to do their jobs now that they’re stuck going back even without the $1000 signing bonus Canada Post offered them just to work through the Christmas rush and resume fighting afterwards.

Payment notices from PayPal seem to have resumed coming in real-time (for me at least) over the weekend. The HS Code look-up section of the Canada Post website, however, is down. 

The orders coming in for me lately are steadily American, it's my Canadian customers who are few and far between. I suspect it's due to my American customers being blissfully unaware of the postal situation here. I ship with tracking so I'm hoping there's time to get there by Christmas. Under 'normal' circumstances the cut-off for USA holiday delivery is like Dec. 12 or so, still three weeks away. 

We shall see what the upcoming week holds. It's do or die time for real now.
