Has anyone used Chit Chat service for Australia or Germany?

International mail is getting so expensive.  I use Chit Chat for all my US mail, and some of my CDN mail.  I am now looking at using them for my international as it is about half the price of small packet international air.  

The problems that I see is that it can take a little longer.  It takes 7 to 20 business days, sometimes longer.  They fill up a skid of mail and when it is full send it.  I guess each time it would be different but I can handle 4 weeks but any longer than that well, that is too long. 

On .ca also why can we have economy international mail as one of our options on .ca.  I am not sending it Canada post but economy international which takes longer.  I use that on .com but it is not available on .ca.

How do I get the message, it is all in French on ebay in France.

I managed with google translate to figure it out and using ric's sample letter, this is what I said:

Votre CD a été posté comme promis le 12 février 18. Il n'y a pas de numéro de suivi, pour avoir un aurait ajouté un supplément de 15 $ au coût d'expédition! Les envois internationaux prennent environ 6 semaines pour atteindre l'acheteur. Si vous ne le recevez pas avant le 14 mars 18, je rembourserai votre argent avec mes propres fonds. Si le CD arrive finalement, faites le moi savoir afin que je puisse envoyer une autre facture pour que vous puissiez payer à nouveau (je suis à 100% si le CD n'apparaît pas). Il est très rare que les colis n'arrivent jamais, dans plus de 99% des cas, ils prennent plus de temps que prévu. Désolé pour les frustrations autour de ce lot, j'espère qu'il apparaîtra toujours. Passez une bonne journée!

Update:  

CD sent to Australia, using Chit Chat International non tracked service sent Feb 9/18 arrived today March 15/18.  (they are a day ahead)

CD Sent to Sweden using Chit Chat international non tracked service sent Feb 13/18 arrived today March 14/18.

CD sent Feb 9/18 to Germany using Chit Chat International non tracked service has not yet arrived.   Buyer stated that he is not in a hurry, they are having issues with DHL mail.

CD sent Feb 13/18 sent to France using Chit Chat International non tracked service has not yet arrived, buyer opened case, so had to refund him.  I am sure it will arrive any day, but the buyer opened a case.  

Only 10 more to go (sent international through chit chat)

I talked to Chit Chat this morning and they do not used DHL from Vancouver, he is really not sure what is used or how, it really depends on the country.  It is not the same service as it is in ONT.  He said that because of ebay's estimated arrival times it really doesn't work on ebay with using the service in BC.  It takes 4 to 6 weeks for items to reach their destination.  

So can't use the cheap shipping because it just doesn't work with ebays estimated date to be received.

As someone who has had a package sent to me in Canada by Chit Chats I can say the service is way to slow. Three days and the package has not even been received by Chit Chats. I for one will be asking sellers if they use the service and if so my money stays in my wallet.

That has nothing to do with Chit Chats -- the SELLER is the one at fault for not turning the package over to Chit Chats in a timely matter.  

For shipping pick one: Cheap or Fast.

In any case: ZOMBIE thread.
