a bank account?

I heard about some changes coming to how we can accept monies and how to pay seller fees and I get the implication that they must go to/from a "bank account".

So I listed an item and when i clicked submit a little box came up with a link to take me to where I was to "edit" something. I FOOLISHLY did not click it and proceed to list the item.  I can no longer get that back.

So I did some googling on how to do it and it appears to tell me I have to go to some part of my profile to add a bank acct. 

So I find this part and start to do it but then I get this warning:

Payments

Your payment information is not available on international eBay sites. To view and update this information, please go to Payments on the US site.

So I click the link for paymennts on the US site and it will only allow me to add a credit card (my paypal account is already there).

If this is the case, how would i receive buyer payments?  Would it still go to paypal?

I'm very confused!!

To "get that back" go to the listing and at the top left click on REVISE.

If you want to add a bank account, you need to go in your Payments tab in Seller Hub and sign up for Managed Payments.

I knew someone smarter than me had the rest of your answer.

Might I suggest that the bank account you choose be one that is not related to your personal accounts. At least at a different bank.

And if you are at all nervous, both Simplii (CIBC subsidiary) and Tangerine (BNS subsidiary) are online low fee choices.

sorry this does not work. I am on ebay.ca and want to add payment information so I can get paid for selling items. But when I click the link in your response and then the 'payments' link I get the same error message "Your payment information is not available on international eBay sites. To view and update this information, please go to Payments on the US site." Can we not use the Canadian site to sell things? Can a Canadian bank account be set up on the US site?

That's odd that you would get that message as your information as to be set up on the Canadian site

I'm not sure which link you are on when you get that message as I'm already set up with MP so can't duplicate what you are seeing but when you go to the following link, is there an edit link for your payout settings that you can use to set everything up?

I've been on eBay for over 20 years and have sold several times over those years. I haven't sold anything for the past 2 years. I recently went to sell something and am having the exact same issue. Same message. I see now that eBay has dropped PayPal and wants me to add my bank account. I also see that there are limits to sales. Nice that they are considering me as a new user 🤷‍♂️
Anyway, it keeps trying to bumping me to eBay.com and keeps giving me the same "your payment info is not available, etc." and then if I click to go to eBay.com it glitches out and stops me from doing anything.

It's very frustrating.
