Today's version: buyer from India upset with me because their item got stuck in customs because I said it was a gift with zero value.
I know it is not my package because I don't ever put gift on the customs form and I don't ever put zero value. I looked and the buyer has bought lots of stuff in the last month so they've got me confused with another seller.
I sent them a note advising this, but haven't heard back.
A couple weeks ago a buyer from Malaysia sent a note advising that they had not received a lot they paid for 30 days ago. They actually purchased a lot of items from me, a couple months ago, sent tracked fortunately, they'd already given me positive feedback for all the items about a month ago when it was delivered.
I sent an update that they'd already given me positive feedback and a link to see that they had been delivered a month earlier. Simply got a note that they sent the note by mistake. (at least it wasn't a case with all the overhead work to resolve it)
Regular "deserved" problems are enough of a pain but they're extra frustrating when they aren't even our stuff and we're being confused with another seller!
I'm about 50% sure one of my negative feedbacks is not from one of my lots, it could be a language barrier situation but the buyer never communicated back to me so I'm stuck with that one too.
I'll be annoyed if I catch a negative from the India one because 100% for sure I know it isn't my package....time will tell!
