I am respectful to people who show me respect, I've never had issues with people sending me msgs and none of those feed backs are from people who had prior contacted me.
Each of those comments I made, were right. After my first mistake,I stopped using surface int. As for packaging, the price jumps from $10- to $16 if i use a box and I let them know how I'll be shipping it beforehand. If the buyer is not going to read, its not my problem. I am proactive with these things, but i can't chase every one.
As for 100% feedback, I'm not going to bend over backwards and give my item for free; and neither should you. I bought every single item and worked hard to get them. Items don't just disappear into thin air, if its undelivered it will return to me. As a seller you shouldnt encourage this kind activity, a lot of buyers like to dip their toes in the water to see if they can get free things.
I asked a simple question looking for some help, Pierre and a few non-regulars were the only one who stated the facts, the rest of you (Ive seen you in other threads, and its the same story, you start attacking the original poster) started going on how I was mean to people and whatever. I didn't know I was back in highschool, what does that have to do with my question?
Your question leads to your business practices. Your business practices lead to your situation, which lead to your question.
Technically, every INR is "in transit". So, there needs to be a cut-off point. Your practices put you on the other side of the cut-off point.
Yopu are in this to make money. Us "weekenders" do the same thing. We are in this to make money. We have made all the mistakes and either learned on our own, or, had someone tell us we were wrong. There is no simple right way of doing things. There are, however, a lot of wrong things that can be done.
Doing things wrong, lead to questions such as " Just lost a case with item still in transit how? What do I do now?". and the circle continues.

Exactly, received the same advice when I was a Newbie.
The regulars picked apart my listing years ago & they were exactly right in regards to my listing deficiencies.

Many years ago I came to the point where I had to write a special kind of email to a buyer.... very early in selling on eBay
That is when I sat back and realized there were many ways to say the same thing... and then I asked myself ... What would I want to see in an email.... and not be totally unhappy as a buyer getting this email...
Then it was a few years ago ...and ... I found sellers were having problems....asking questions here and on eBay.com.
These situations helped me get a better understanding of eBay... file it away for future reference ... if needed.....and will that ever be my problem...
Currently....My thought.... The first thing any seller on eBay has to do is ask ... Who am I?... How do I deal with people? How do I deal with people I cannot see?
Many people are just not suited to selling on eBay.
and then there are those that learn.... and adjust
It was in 2006 that I started reading the boards on eBay.com.
The most interesting discussions were started with someone very unhappy with eBay..... Sometimes known as whiners....Yet once things were sorted out... it became obvious what the answer was... The seller knew the answer, even before the discussion...Yet the seller was focused on what they were doing....
It is hard to accept when one is wrong... and perhaps even harder to change.
We had a seller who continued to do as he chose... contrary to eBay rules... Eventually eBay caught up to this seller and put a selling restriction on him....
It is not easy to be a seller on eBay....
I found that it was the small changes that gave the biggest result.... Many times it was making an adjustment... before eBay had it as a rule....
