Need help with Free Tuesday shipping.

Last year I had no problem but this year, I can't seem to get Expedited Parcel service to show.  I tried on last Tuesday to an address in Calgary and spent over and hour trying, I called the PO and was on for 45 minutes and they never did come answer.  So I lost out on that day.  Now this Tues I have a another parcel going out and wanted to see if it would Expedited Parcel would show on a regular day.   I want to resolve this issue by Tues and I need to know if anyone can help me.  I am signed in using snap ship. snap ship.jpg

Need help with Free Tuesday shipping.

I used the first parcel for a shipment to DH's auction house in Ottawa.

No problems.

Second one I was sending to a Women's Shelter in Nunavut.

The Nunavut addess would not take and would not take and would not take, so I tried the Ottawa address.

Looked fine, (and I have printer problems) so off to the PO where they printed my label from my phone.

And while the Nunavut address was there, the barcode and postal code were for Ottawa.

 

Nothing could be done by the PO staff and when I phoned customer service in New Brunswick , Lise told me ever so nicely that there was nothing to be done* except allow it to time out.

 

Hoping Week Three goes better.

 

 

 

*Actually I could have shipped it with the wrong code and apparently it would be caught at the Dead Letter Office in Ottawa, an interesting bunch,  and sent on to Nunavut.  Since there is no rush, why not?

I even just tried to get an estimate on sending a parcel to ontario and again would not show me expedited shipping.

I cleaned all my cookies and tried first without signing in just to check the rates and still no expedited.  I even tried a toronto postal code still no expedited.  Only regular and expresspost.

I printed an expedited label both Tuesdays using Canada Post Free Tuesday's site and didn’t have a problem. Printed one yesterday using Canada Post Snap Ship. What browser are you using? I’m using Chrome.

I logged out and logged into another account and it works.  I have a couple of accounts, so I will be ready this Tues.  Just like passwords, hard to keep everything organized in a 70 year old brain.

You were logged in with a Personal account rather than a Commercial (i.e. Solutions for Small Business) account.

 

Canada Post allows you to have both; a Personal account is required for a few of their services including FlexDelivery and the new Automatic Tracking.

Worked for me perfectly.  I was logged into my personal account rather than my business account and that is why it didn't work for me before.  Thanks for all your help.
