Hi everyone -
I've been asked for your input and feedback regarding your experience with Optiseller - what did you like about it, what isn't helpful, and what you'd like to see to make your lives easier when using it.
For those unfamiliar with the tool, there's an announcement here, but at a high level, it's a third party tool designed to let you quickly identify listings that are missing potentially useful item specifics. If you use File Exchange or another listing tool it will integrate with them and help you more effectively manage item specific edits.
I'll leave this thread open for your input for the next few days and get it to the product folks come Monday/Tuesday. Thanks!

Came across a variation tool for doing the same thing that was much more user friendly compared to Optiseller. Unable to find where I located originally. Tried to pass it along but seems it may not be available for all?!? Do you have any insight on this link/page? In checking today it found 2 more items requiring updating so appears to be constantly scanning a sellers listings.

Signed up briefly for Optiseller. (That is, I closed my Optiseller account same day.)
Found little use for the tool as when I list and/or re-list I check my listings and fill in all relevant item specifics...and the fact that Optiseller had my listings as "Free Shipping" when I don't do free shipping, gave me little confidence in the value or accurateness of this tool. While the free trial may be of benefit to some sellers, I feel it's way overpriced for its capabilities. I simply could not justify paying for what little value there was to be gained by using Optiseller.

Appears that the only way to un-apply once you have signed up is to wait for an email from Optiseller with a visible link asking to cancel. In checking past emails that option does not show up.

I had no problem cancelling out of my OptiSeller account...but that was nearly 2 months ago...

The information I noted was based on their current help page. They may have removed whatever you were able to do in between. Just didn't want to start getting automagic bills in January.

PS. I have 6 or 7 emails from Optiseller and none show an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

From what I can remember, I contacted Optiseller Support via email to cancel the account and received a couple of responses, the final response indicated that the account cancellation request had been completed.
