Sales have hit bottom

I sell CD's and yes I know that they are a dying breed, however, they are still selling, I can see by my competition.  Pre 2020, I was doing OK, a couple of sales a day, during covid, I was selling 5 to 8 CD's a day but now it for the past 2 months it is down to a trickle.  I must be doing something wrong.

As customers of eBay, buying their services, it is difficult to imagine actually paying MORE willingly to them.

But if the Promoted Listing at 15% or 20% moves stock, we just turned tired stuff into useful money.

And if it doesn't work, it costs nothing, but still gives our Stores more visibility.

I may try this in my "test store".

Bonanza? really??? there are other sites that are truly more worthwhile for listing CDS,(music of any kind for that matter),than that site...Bonanza has basically no traffic...     was a seller on that site back when it was a flourishing new venture and then watched it slide into nothingness as it cozied up to eBay and became a wannabe that never became much of anything...Bonanza's best years were prior to 2013...

When there's no red flag such as seller negatives or item condition it's almost always pricing or demand

Had time and i'm curious so i analyzed 5 random items quickly to see

Chubby Checker 1959-1963: past 90-days 5 sales, 0 sale canada. Your listing is the 9th cheapest listed

Janet Jackson 2006 CD: Around 10 sales, 0 sale canada. 8th cheapest

Shania Twain 2002 CD: lot of sales, 5 sale canada (2 sealed as your, $14 and $21). Your is listed $22, 2 listings from 2 other canadian sellers cheapest ($14.99, $21.99) and without US to CAD conversion fee

Katie Melua 2006 CD: 3 sales, 0 sale canada. None sealed. No one else have it sealed within canada or cheaper you would be the best option there

Celine Dion 2000 CD: Only one sale canada. $5.00. You list at $13.00. 6 canadian sellers have it listed cheaper

We see very quickly evidences of what i'm saying. Slow sales very very very often means bad pricing or low demand. And if both, you can go into very long dead time runs

Also consider competition from other sources, not just eBay itself or other online marketplaces.  The Chris de Burgh CD you're selling goes for $9.99 at London Drugs.
