Vacation setting WWYD re handling?

Finally the US/Canada border will be opening up for short trips without a PCR test.  I will be going across the border for 2 1/2 days in December. Now I will indicate that I am on vacation for those days, but currently have a 2 day handling, would you change the handling to 3 or 4 days or just leave it as is.  Sales for me have been pitiful however, you never know.    I don't want any more defects and that I think is one of the reasons my sales have taken a hit.

There's always been an option to pause sales while on vacation.

Are you going to be gone during the week or on the weekend? If  You are gone Friday, Sat. and Sun., any sales made won't need to be shipped out until Tuesday so I would leave it the same. Otherwise,  you might want to change handling time to prevent any late shipment dings.

Bulk change your handling time is the best option for such a short absence.

I always have a 5 day handling so I can be "away" for a couple of days any time I want with no repercussions. Your target market doesn't likely care one bit about delivery speed (as long as it's reasonable).

Going Tues to Thurs.  Too crowded to travel on the weekends. I think I will just adjust my handling days and not even put that I am away.

Ya, just change your handling time or don't change your handling time or don't change anything.

Pretend it's Christmas, and Canada Post has 5 days off.

First time since Covid.  Before I would go away for 2 to 4 weeks and change handling time and put up a notice that I was away.  Sales continued to happen and most buyers were OK with that.

I used the bussiness policies option when I list ( I switched to it recently in the past 6 months and I am really happy with it), I can change 10,000 listings in 2 minutes, simple click of a button ot two. Its a nice feature! Works well if you sell similar items with the same shipping prices! Not sure how it works with calculated shipping as I sell lettermail type items mostly, but I could see it being a bit cumbersom with how its setup.
