What is the ebay 'Apps Centre' and does it serve any useful purpose to ebay.ca sellers?

I went down a rabbit hole on the Seller Dashboard and surfaced here https://applications.ebay.com/?sCatId=2.

It's someplace I've not seen before as an ebay Canada seller. Are any of these apps still relevant and, if so, what purpose may they serve for ebay.ca sellers? 

Anyone using any of these?

I've seen some fairly tricked-out listings over the years but I think they all come from the American side of ebay. The few apps here I examined seem to apply only to ebay.com.

Ever since day one back in 1999 I have firmly believed in keeping my listings simple and straightforward (more recently brief).

I am however as most here already know selling stamps so I don't need to be glitzy (to my mind) as a result.....

This has also helped me avoid problems with changes over time that have affected the glitz so to speak!

Most of the Apps eBay offers from third-party developers are for the US Only.

The only one available to .ca sellers is the Listing Analytics app.

But eBay keeps telling us not to load-up our listings with additional features. Doesn’t that make most or at least some of these redundant?

None of the Apps I have looked at (not closely because they don't apply to .ca) had nothing to do with features related to listing bells & whistles, most are for accounting, analysis, shipping etc.
