migrating you listings to another site

i have tried one of the other sites   recently also starts also with a eXXX-to sell a few items about 10 items done manually  very time consuming  the results have been poor but at least some sales have come of it -- i would like like to duplicate all my listings to this other site  around 2000  listigs- and still leave them on ebay at the same time - the other site saids you can import your listings from ebay and they will show up on the other  site -- is this true? -- how easy is it ? i tried this about two years ago with another owned by ebay  and a canadian site e-bid - importing was a night mare as every listing was wrong some how and it took me about a month of hard work to straighten them out  each listing --

i thought maybe things have changed in two years and would give this other site a try -ebid was ok but was not worth the effort to keep it up and i have closed that site down from sales  and now have ebay only site -- so would like to try this other  e### site and see if i could get a few more sales  as i sorely need them right now -- any thoughts about trying this alt. site e###  maybe some fresh new posting members would have some concrete advice for me to follow those  that have done this sort of thing and been either successful or have tried and its not worth the effort

thank-you in advance  to those that give helpful advice

I suppose that depends on the other site...I sell on 2 other e---sites but not knowing which one you are referencing can't really offer any help. But I do know importing listings from eBay to  any other site is never easy and one has to do so much editing and the photo process generally equates to having to manually do the photos so it was just as easy, just as quick to list from scratch on any new site.

I had an easy time with Bonanza back in the day,  but no sales so I eventually took them all down.

Recently we started with a hobby-specific site, which not only made the original import easy, and allows us to post items there which we don't want to put on eBay (still no Cuban stamps though), but also constantly updates so that anything on eBay will also list there fairly quickly.
