Canada Post Commerical: Good for eBay? (chuckle)

Hello. Has anybody else seen the Canada Post commercial stating how 'good' they are for eBay?

I get angry/cynical when I see it, personally.

What I thought was interesting was one actor put an expresspost parcel right into the red mail box, I always thought those & the expedated needed to be scanned.

I throw expedited in the box if it will fit. never any problems.

It gets scanned at the post office sorting depot.

It's the opposite - Ebay has been very good for Canada Post.

Nope, expedited and xpresspost only get scanned afterward.

I have to agree with you all. The first time I saw that commercial, I laughed too, and wondered what all the other Canadian Power Sellers must be thinking.

As all of us know, Canadapost does not make our ebaying any easier. (US Post is another story...that commercial would have made a lot more sense if it was for them)
Ebay has, however, done wonders for Canadapost!

I agree that it should be what eBay has done for them.

They scourn my eBay Powerseller contract and are always trying to lure me out of it and into other contracts other than the eBay one. I get skepticism as well when I call to open a trace and they learn that it was an eBay sale.

They never honor any of the joint deals they make with eBay such as that free month of shipping powersellers were supposed to get last year. They just kept giving me the run around until I finally just said forget it! The only deal I recall them honoring were those free eBay power seller bags, but ha I get the identical expresspost ones free with another contract anyways.

I havn't found their recent intergration with eBay to be at all useful...I'll still continue using the Online Shipping Tools for now.

I better finish this note now with a smile or I could rant on forever...lol
