Has anyone else experience discussion board problems?

I dont know what is happening however several times today when I update the Cdn PS Discussion Board, I get a page with eBay java script and I find that I am unable to get back into the Cdn PS Discussion board for at least an hour despite logging off and signing back on.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Yep, I couldn't log in a few times yesterday and today. I was able to get to the dot com site but dot ca was unavailable ( I forget what the exact message was but it was "[[something]] not found"). Seems to be working again now!

I havent had any further problems since about 10pm last night but they frustratingly started around 9am.
I was certain that it was en eBay problem as I couldnt figure out how my system would default to an eBay page with Java script on it.

The problem I was having with the Cdn PS Board is the reason I ventured onto the US PS Board yesterday. Alot of the ame problems and frustrations as we are having expressed there.

I was getting the Java error message for the last 3 days when trying to log on. At the top of the page, however, just like at the top of these threads I noticed that it read "...Discussion Boards>Canadian PowerSellers Discussion Board>Java Script Error" or something like that. I moved my cursor back to the "Canadian PowerSellers Discussion Board" segment, clicked it, and here I am. Judging from the amount of new activity here in the last three days, or lack thereof, it seems just possible that others aren't able to log in as well.

Hmmmm.... no response from Ebay and the problem still persists..... Maybe we should demand a refund on our Powerseller Membership Fees!!!!!

I just sent a note to Powerseller assistance that when you log onto this board, there is an error in that all of the secret programming codes to Ebay are exposed, we will see if that garners any attention.

I also reminded them that the link to Canadian Powerseller on-line help returns an error message, similar to the note I sent last week in which they responded that they would repair....

What is strange is that I happened to receive these days before anyone else did. I am continuing to get them with greater frequency however the appearance of these messages has changed with smaller fonts.

I was first getting them in what I would suggest was font size 14 and now closer to a font size 6. I dont know if that is an improvement or some indication that eBay is working on the problem.

I have found that back-clicking about 4 times will bring me back to the discussion board, which has been updated since I last visited it where as I previously had to completely log off and then log back onto the discussion board.

This can be a real PIA!

I have had no responses to the last 8 emails I sent to eBay on 2 issues. I have not listed anything for sale on eBay for a month now either as I was considering kissing them goodbye as well as Canada Post.

I am planning to list some items this weekend and see what happens however I am totally disappointed with their support or rather lack thereof.

I finally received a response from Ebay about both the criptic message appearing after signing in on this board and the Internal Error message when attempting to log on to Powerseller support - ca version.

Here we go....

Thank you for alerting us to the problems that you and other Canadian
PowerSellers are experiencing with accessing the CA PowerSeller
Discussion Board and the PowerSeller Support webform. I would be glad
to look into these issues for you.

Unfortunately, I have been able to access the Canadian PowerSeller
Discussion Board without experiencing any of the technical problems that
you describe in your email. However, I did notice that there is a
thread on the Discussion Board relating to this issue, so, it is a
problem that is being experienced by others as well. I have forwarded
the information that you have provided in addition to some of the
information found in the Discussion Board thread on to the Canadian
PowerSeller Program Management Team so that they can investigate and
address this issue for you. You can be assured that they will give this
matter their immediate attention.

Also, in regards to the error message that you are encountering when
attempting to utilize the PowerSeller Support webform, I have not been
able to duplicate the "input error" message as well. Because of this, I
will include this information in the email that I send to the Canadian
PowerSeller Program Management Team as well so that they can look into
remedying this issue as well.
