If a bid is won, the seller relists the item and keeps my money is that breaking eBay policy?

Just won a bid on Roman helm for 18.99 us and hear nothing from this seller yet and relists my helm again for 72.00, is that good selling and what I can do to have this seller investigate for fraudulent activity.

First contact the seller through eBay Messages and ask for the date and service of your shipment. Also ask for the tracking number.

If you don't get a prompt reply-- within 24 hours-- with at least the date and service, open an Item Not Received Dispute with eBay.

The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page.

The first step is a suggestion that you contact the seller, but since will already have done that, escalate immediately to a Claim.

If the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping, Delivery) you will be refunded.

There is some time given to the seller to allow for responses and transit for a shipped item.

You don't care if there is a tracking number, btw. It's actually there to protect the seller. You want a response or the helmet or your money.

Don't Panic!

Obviously this is a reproduction not the real thing.Smiley LOL

He may have dozens of helmets. Some better quality than others. Look at the one you won and at the newly listed one and compare them.

On the other hand, if he put yours up at auction with little bidding, he may have stupidly decided to ignore your win and your payment.

If you need help with the Resolution Centre, add on to this thread.

I believe you jumped the gun a bit... the auction just ended on Aug.6/16 @ 23:18 with a high bid of 18.99USD.

I would have held back on leaving the Seller a negative feedback within 24hrs of the auction ending.

The seller may have 20 identical helmets in his inventory and just relisted another one at a higher starting bid of 61.00USD.

You should have waited patiently for a few days to see if the Seller actually shipped your item out and communicated with you.

If you didn't hear from the Seller in the next few days you could have sent a message asking about the status of shipment and given them 24hrs to respond.

Leaving feedback is the last step you take if you experience a bad sales transaction.

But Since you jumped the gun, the Seller has no motivation to send the item or communicate with you.

You may just receive a "refund" for the item.

If you don't receive a refund then follow "femmefan's" steps in the previous post for one.

I see that you contacted the seller.  If everything works out you should ask the seller to send you a revise feedback request so that you can change it to postive .

According to the listing, the seller will be using a courier which means you are almost certain to be charged duty, taxes and brokerage fees.  It is up to the seller if they will change methods but you might want to ask them if it is possible to send the item by mail. its less likely that you will have to pay extra and if you do, it will cost less by mail then courier.

It appears you have heard back from the seller and are satisfied with the progress of your order. I strongly suggest, once you receive your package and deem all is well, you immediately contact the seller, ask them to please send you a "Feedback Revision" form so you can change the unwarranted negative to the positive they deserve. Then I say you owe them an apology for jumping the gun and perhaps costing them business from others who saw the neg you left from them.

"the OP did not say he had paid for it, just that he won the bid"

Your nitpicking......

If the buyer didn't pay for it then why he is so upset? Because he saw the identical item relisted.

Pay for it first then complain, but contact the Seller first before jumping the gun!

Regardless if he paid for it or didn't pay for it, there was still helpful information given for both scenario's.....

The OP is one of the reasons for a blocked buyer list.
