I have a extremely rare signed copy of Michael Buble CD, sold over a year ago for $450 Canadian. I am not sure if it was a BIN or auction. Would you list it as a BIN or auction and if so for what? Of course I want to get as much money as I can. Also maybe I should wait to list this until October when it is busier.

No the one for $450 was not mine, I was just doing research on pricing. I just happened to have one that I will be selling and wanted feedback as to what you would do. It is very rare, and difficult to even set the price because of that. Sorry for the confusion.

I think I would wait till Sept/Oct when people are back from their vacations.
I don't know what the market price would be for this now, a year after one sold for $450. Prices seem to be a bit lower for collectibles in general but, I don't know about CD's. If, as you say, it is quite rare perhaps it has gone up in value.
You could list it as an auction for $450. and see what happens.
Congrats on finding a treasure.

If you happen to have a picture of him signing you might be able to bypass the authentication service.
I'd probably put it up now as a Buy It Now Immediate Payment Required .
You could include Best Offer too.
Then if it doesn't sell before Labour Day, take it down and let the listing rest for a bit.
When the autumn rolls around, put it up at a slightly lower price as an Auction.
That gives it a couple of months exposure during the slow times, and allows for stronger bidding as Christmas drifts around.

This CD was self produced by Michael Buble before he was famous as a fundraiser for his grandfather who had been diagnosed with cancer. Many of the CD's were signed by him as you couldn't buy them in a store. At least this is the information that I have been told. That is why is was called Grandfather dedication, Dream. I have this one and also Babalu by Michael Buble, it's not signed and worth about $300 plus.

This is very interesting, this was filmed over 7 years before he became famous.

This is totally not be area of expertise, but with a formal Certificate of Authenticity, perhaps you could justify adding another zero to your asking price. Eh?

Michael Buble signed items on eBay
Link to...
This is what his signature is worth... signed, signed in person... on a photo, a program, a poster, or CD..... and sometimes a guitar.
Does Michael Buble know how to play the guitar? Very unique if he played the guitar on stage....
A program, or a guitar would be in a more unique situation than a photo or CD which may be signed many times over without limit
The price does vary... Very much so on eBay as an indication.
A price of $450 sounds way too high for today
-----------------------------------------------------
I have found signed books... Anne Murray, Randy Bachman, Matt Dunigan, Tretiak ...as well as Diefenbaker and have compared my signature to those on line... or on eBay...
My view is that the pricing on eBay is the best determinant of value....
Price also depends on how readily a signature is provided by a person such as Michael Buble. Historically some people have not signed many items.. Michael Buble appears to provide a signature very readily
-------------------------------------------------
Another consideration is when was the signature provided.... The best example is the signature of a hockey player... while playing or once retired, was the player a rookie... or award winner..... That is why hockey players now date their signature...
For Michael Buble it could be important to know when he signed it and how well he was known at that time... Was the signature dated?...
Lots to consider..... and based on what is present on eBay... that is the best indicator of value... specifically sold items....

Base your pricing on what his Autograph is worth separately and what the CD is worth separately, then combine two.
Try and compare his Autograph or Signature to authenticated examples like PSA/DNA or JSA .
Of course signing a CD will vary from a signature on a photograph because of the signing space.
Do not make up your COA because they aren't worth the paper their printed on.....
You can also send it PSA/DNA or JSA for authentication but you will be paying for the service and shipping..
If you are going to sell, use GTC listing format with a Best Offer.
This way you can sell it now or when your ready and don't have to worry about slow traffic on eBay during the Summer months.
If it's a hot item, a GTC Listing will also benefit you by attracting buyers to your site and by getting a maximum price for it!
