ebay announcement says they have made CP labels available again so we don't have to use overpriced UPS thankfully

Was just able to print 2 USA tracked labels. Appears to be all good.

If that's the case, I guess I'll take a shot in the dark, and reopen my store.

the ability to purchase & print CP labels may be back but also the uncertainty of what mail disruptions are around the bend are still there
Be very cautious at this time ..."only fools rush in"

While eBay temporarily made CPO labels unavailable through their site, Canada Post was still selling them on their site.
Sellers who have a Solutions for Small Business account can also buy discounted labels through SnapShip, although the discounts eBay had negotiated were usually better.
If you purchase a label though SS, you have to manually upload the tracking number.

For everyone that decided to gamble and keep shipping regardless of the strike, this is good news.
For those of us anticipating a strike to come later, not so good... it's dragging out the eventual resolution when the danger of a strike has passed. I think there will still be a strike and it's only been postponed by this latest news.

Until there's a real resolution I will keep UPS.
I respect too much my customers to even gamble with their packages. I've tried ChitChat for a few days and the delay was way too long. I will not offer my products anymore with that much delay if possible.
I will not gamble on my business either while the situation is so unstable with Canada Post.
I understand people who still ship with them, tho. They want to keep sales coming in. But I can afford a slow down and keep my good reputation 😉
Hint: Using public coupons to promote combined shipping is interesting. 😉 For small items, it become interesting to use UPS and combining 3, 4 or 5+ items with almost the same weight.
