No cosmetics, dinner ware including utensils, and any device emitting radiation (microwaves, TVs. CD players, etc)
Effective as of July 9 2025. Had to cancel eye shadow orders. Pulled another 20 dinnerware and flatware items.
How are Joe and Judy seller going to be on top of all these non stop changes involved with intl. shipping. He's (without naming names) broken something that has worked fine for recent history.

I would assume any dinnerware that comes in contact with food or drink as it's primary purpose to be restricted, until such time we find out more. The post is cautionary, I hold no expertise in the full implications and details of this information.
I sell souvenir spoons. You don't use them to eat.

Collectible tea cups aren't either but... nuance is not everyone's strong suit.

I'm making plans to sell them to people in Canada (most of the souvenir spoons are Canadian anyway, which attracts more Canadian customers).
But I'm in no hurry to do this, I just updated the listings to show the item is in Canada so if I have to mail one and it gets rejected then at least the customer knows it's coming from outside the US.

Have the cross-border shippers put out any statements regarding this?
These sorts of things affect them immediately so they're usually the most knowledgable on the regulations (and likely have paid customs brokers on call to clarify matters and ensure compliancy).

Agree. eBay, etsy, mercari, etc. should also be providing notice and guidance for its sellers.

Not yet, if they do at all... they might want to address dinnerware and cosmetics, since I think we can still ship those with Stallion and Chit Chats.
Food has always been forbidden and perfume is considered hazardous goods.

Can anyone please explain it like I'm 5, with respect to cosmetics?
Say we want to sell lipstick. What do we have to do now in order to sell said lipstick? And since there's no de minimis, I guess this means duties are applied?

If an admin can delete this post I would appreciate it. My sincere apologies for causing others worry and concern in this post. My information was out of date as I had read information in another recent post and when searching for confirmation on other sites the dates lined up, but the info was from last year.
They won't delete it, but you can "report" the post and tell the Mods you want the topic closed, then people won't be able to reply anymore.
