That's usually my strategy whenever CP has this promotion — I make my decision in the evening, in the event that there are multiple options to choose from so I can go for what would otherwise be the most costly.

@snoopwiz has a suggestion for all of us who don't have a domestic parcel to ship on Tuesdays.
This is a list of women's shelters in the Arctic which need warm clothing and household linens for distribution. Also children's toys for Christmas.
So if all your sales on the 8th are to the USA, build a little karma by using the Free Shipping to help families in need.

It should. From the FAQ section:

I have rarely used Snap Ship so I just wanted to double check that I'm doing things right...
I go to this page - https://www.canadapost.ca/cpc/en/business/shipping/find-rates-ship/snap-ship.page?icid=cta_pdn_int_k...
Then click the "Ship Now" button, and I get that "Looks like our server is busy" error. Am I doing this correctly or is the server busy for everyone else?
If I'm not doing it right, could anyone give me a direct link to the postage printing page for putting in that Oct8 code? Thank you in advance!

2. Look at the top of page and click on Account or My Account …. this takes you to your Dashboard which is where you need to be. They should just name that link Dashboard.
3. Look for the Create new shipment link … it's not at first clear but it is there.
I just used the promo around 11am EST … no problems at all.
RE; what time does the promo begin.
Other years I have waited up until 12.01 am EST (Ontario, Quebec) and the promo code was active.

That's where I'm having problem... when I get to the my dashboard page it's blank
And when I try to make a new account instead, I get the server is busy message ;__; I'm even using work computer now so it's not my home computer that's the problem.

If BC does go to permanent Daylight Savings next year, I am going to be permanently confused.

Now that you mentioned it I seem to recall CP revamping their epost/snapship sites last winter or maybe it was farther back in 2018. They combined those 2 into one site which required me to reregister or maybe it was just change userid and password, I forget now. Maybe this is why some infrequent users's accounts don't work?
