Just sold an item. Go to SOLD and it's not there. Instead is listed as UNSOLD. Click back and forth for a while and then it disappears altogether. Wait a bit longer and it shows up as SOLD at last. Click on SEND INVOICE and get a message in a red box saying the invoice can't be sent because the buyer has already paid. Go back to item and see "Buyer hasn't paid yet". Is someone having a joke at our expense?

This sort of thing is becoming all too common. Perhaps if eBay spent as much time on function as they do on appearance we'd have a site that works as well as it used to. Apart from glitches, there is the deliberate nonsense of the New Listing Tool. You type in a title and it immediately informs you "We've run out of suggestions" before any suggestions have been made. Nevertheless it asks you to "View possible matches" and when you do a box appears: "Continue without match". It's hard to believe someone has actually been paid (a) to produce and (b) to sign off on such incompetent website design.

Couldn't agree more. Why the need for a one size fits all listing tool? Hand held devices and personal computes are very different animals. There's no need to make one listing form for both. The listing form we had was fine, so keep it for the desktop crowd and roll out this new one for the phone using crowd.

Instead they come out with one for both that doesn't work very well for either. Where is the sense in that?

And yes, cool is still cool. And groovy is still hip.

Just went to list a vintage piece of computer tech by part number and brand.

Ebay first suggested category: Crafts > Home Arts & Crafts > Candle Making & Soap Making > Candle Wax

You can't make this stuff up!!! 🤣😂🤣

I've also noted with other sellers previously created listings, where a larger font (possibly personal choice?!?) current listing (post update|) displays with overlapping garbled text. Unsure how this plays out on app. What happens when system upgrades are made willy nilly for lack of a better technical name.

I know it's been pointed out by several others. This is a major defect with the new listing tool. This is PC related. Unsure if it applies to the app. I've tried to screen capture but system resets every time you try.

If the text you are typing into a field has too many characters you are unable to complete typing and save(select button disappears off the screen). This is a major portion of creating any new listings. Titles for books, dvds, cds etc can be longer due to no fault of their own. Can this get passed on to the techs for immediate attention? Thanks.
