I put where the CD was manufactured on all my listings and now want to make sure what I have listed on .com were made in the US and CD's made in Canada, Europe and Japan are only listed on .ca so I can turn off shipping to the US if tariffs come into play.
Is there a way for me to search for country region of manufacture on my CD's?

Keep in mind, if it's not clearly listed on the CD or insert the border agents may simply pick a country (like China) regardless of whether you're right or not. That said, look up the CDs on Discogs. Often times they actually list where it was manufactured, sometimes right down to the facility.

I already know where the CD was produced/made. I would like to search my ebay listings by where it was made and was wondering if I could do that? Otherwise, I have to go through each listing and put a note where it was produced and then transfer the listing to either .com or .ca.

So you're looking for a search filter to pick up the CD's country of manufacture as stated in the Item Specifics?
I don't think there's a way to do that, at least not yet.

I've seen in a number of situations if you use the UPC you have to confirm the info dumped into item specifics very closely. Really bad with CD's. DVD's, gaming and books. Unfortunately there is no way that I know of to do a personal listing search for that data. Same goes from buyers perspective...if they wanted to. For CD's as an example that information might be extremely important especially for a collector.
eBay once retrieved a hardcover book i was trying to list as eBook using the UPC. Garbage in....garbage out. 😦

Yes, exactly. Thanks

Ah, yeah that's a bigger problem. It's probably only doable with 3rd party software. What I've been doing is adding a few characters into the custom label / SKU field. So for Canada, I add in *CA, for USA I add in *US, etc. That won't help you with your current problem though, it'll just make it easier in the future. I believe there used to be an option to download all your listings with all fields to CSV, but I can't find it now for the life of me.

This is exactly what I started doing earlier this year when all this tariff hullabaloo began.
I put the country of manufacture in the SKU field, which is searchable from Seller Hub.
Unfortunately there's no other way to filter listings by country of origin.

Not very helpful, but if you were able to review 75 listings a day, it would take you about a month to update your store.
You could start with the highest priced ones, since those would cause the most pain to your buyers.
Or you could work with those About to Close, since that is a popular Search.
One advantage of doing this, is that you will find errors that have crept in, like double listed items, or relisted solds, or listings with the wrong picture/title /description.
But - yeah. A LOT of work.

I have been adding a note to all the listings indicating where the CD was made. Hopefully nothing will come of it. Any new listings I am listing correctly on .com for USA and .ca for Canada, Europe and Japan. I just was hoping that there was an easier way.

It's here on the Reports tab of the Hub
https://www.ebay.ca/sh/reports/downloads
I have not really used it so I did a test, the basic download report does not include Item Specifics. There may be a way to get a more detailed report but I don't how and I'm not going to figure it out.

Thanks for trying.

Short of getting an API key and writing something yourself, the only way I know of that MIGHT work (I don't have a subscription and haven't tried) is something like Optiseller, which has a free trial, or another 3rd party company.

Found it! Years ago it had a different name, now called Merchant Integration Program.
https://www.mip.ebay.com/mip/nglanding
Somewhere in there they provide templates, if you just want to do a single download of all your Active listings (all fields) it might not be too difficult. I imagine they have a template that will do that.
My SixBit program will import listings from eBay, I played around with the export function and was able to download a .csv file which included the Item Specifics fields plus any other fields you want (Title, Date Listed, eBay Listing Number etc) load that into Excel sort the Country Of Manufacture column (presuming you have been entering data in the field) and you can get a list of the listings by Country of Manufacture or a combination of fields.
I've never used it but WonderLister probably has similar functions at a lower price.
These programs all offer a free trial if you just want to do a one off.

A general search of your listings using the country name as a search keyword will turn up your listings with that country name anywhere in the title or item-specifics. May not always work if the country (or another country) also appears elsewhere in the listing, but it might help.

I tested that method on my listings when the bruhaha about COO first reared its ugly head with limited results. I have the country listed in a good portion of my item specifics. China as an example. Searching from search bar only brings up the 2 China specific in title.
If you attempt the same process from Sellers listings you are given the option for Title, SKU and Item Description. Click on the dropdown tab the only listed option is Item Description. That appears to be how eBay has designed it to work going forward.
For my situation it would be very time consuming to go in an add/update listings that are missing that sort. In many cases that info just isn't available. Not every ebay listing is new in original packaging. There can also be items that are manufactured in multiple countries.

Are you searching your active listings on your selling page?
I am searching the way a buyer would search. I see 377 items of yours that have china in the title or item-specifics:

When i searched before I was getting limited results testing that way. I am fairly sure the number should be much higher. It should work from listings page also but gives entirely substantially different results. As for bulk edit unsure how much work that would be if you wanted to remove from selling to specific countries. Especially when going forward will officially be known as Orange Hair changes his mind daily on tariffs and the rules.
