Received confirmation from a sale to Canadian buyer stating "This email that you have received from .............. for $....... " and the email address. Those are usually hidden.

i checked 3 sold s from last night and none of them, have a buyer's email included.

Did your emails come from ebay or paypal, and have you confirmed in Paypal that payment was made?

It came from Paypal and yes, the payment is there.

I had another from a Canadian buyer a couple of hours earlier, with no email shown.

I would love if the email comes up for Canadians buyers, much easier than searching for it when trying to use Snap Ship.

Received one of those last week just as you described that included the email address , I cannot explain why this occasionally happens.

The buyer was from Belgium, maybe that factors into the reason why the email was included.

What's it matter - you get all that information on the PayPal receipt anyway.

Email addresses are no longer being shown on Paypal invoices.

They used to show on PP invoices ( under Refund) but then disappeared.

Too bad, having the email was occasionally handy.

Well I suppose technically you are right - but you do get all the information on the: "Instant payment received from ........" email from PayPal - including the email address - so you are actually getting all the information before the receipt.

Well I suppose technically you are right - but you do get all the information on the: "Instant payment received from ........" email from PayPal - including the email address - so you are actually getting all the information before the receipt.

Buyer email info disappeared from those paypal emails in the autumn of 2017 (at least for me). Since then just buyer name and ebay user ID show.  The occasional email address does manage to show up, but that is now the exception, rather than the rule.

I archive my email messages that come from paypal.

I did make a mistake in the previous post,  it was September 2018 (not 2017) when buyer email addresses stopped appearing in the paypal payment notification emails. 

Since Sept/2018, I have only had 2 messages where the email address was shown (and both of those appeared in the last month).
