devon@ebay Sorry for the new thread but there are several open and multiple requests for official comment from ebay have been ignored. So i wanted to open a fresh thread so you could see it and please get us a reply.
As you should be aware a grwoing number of us still do not have our Feb 4th payments. We have all been fed various stories. Can you please officially comment on this issue?
The payments were sent on Feb 4th, never arrived, and then changed to in progress on Feb 7th and still have not arrived. Subsequent payments have been received without issue. Multiple users on this forum alone reporting the issue. At this point no one cares what the issue is, pay us, and then go figure it out on your own time. Please comment.

As relayed in the thread below, a supervisor told one seller that this could take 30-60 days to resolve. It is my opinion that the silence from Ebay is deliberate.......they may be in panic mode right now. And i believe Ebay has put a muzzle on Devon.

The fact that eBay has not issued any "official announcement" in regards to this matter, nor have they appeared to have contacted directly any or all members who were affected tells me that they have had a "major" issue that they have not managed to "contain".
So they are going/have gone into "lockdown/ghost" mode, so as not to let the goose out of the bag in the general populace that they had/have an issue, hereby warning/tipping off any guilty parties involved.
Internal Fraud
Hacked Accounts
Coding Error
Stolen Credentials
Could be any or a combination of the above.
But, yes all members who were not affected should already have been credited the missing amounts and eBay can go after their screw-ups at their costs and expense.

Still Missing My Payment Too, I spoke to the Ebay Team On Twitter As They Usally Are Better At handling stuff. they said its a reoccuring issue they have from people messaging them past few days and will add me to a list. Theres nothing we can do otherwise just wait, the more outrage there is over the issues and request ebay recivies they will evenutally do something. issues like this happen with all companies but With ebay choice on how there handling this i will start doing more business elsewhere with companies that handle something like this better. I Have Been Lied To Multiple Times By Ebay Support & Tech People Multiple Times About This Issue. Saying Stuff Like It Was Rejected by your Bank But Im Not Allowed To Provide A Specific Reason. Word For Word That Was Said to me. I was also told it would be back in my ebay balance. 2-3 Of The Supports Inquires I never even recivied a response.

Going by the responses on the topic of sellers missing the February 4, 2025 payout, it appears that at least 21 of us are missing our payouts for that date. That is not a paltry number in my opinion and I'm sure there are many more that either haven't noticed the missing payout yet or have responded to the posts here in the forum, or don't visit the forum at all.
We have to keep the pressure on to get this resolved. I fear that the more time that passes the less attention eBay will put on this!

We should also expect to start getting interest on the missing money.
And yes, it's probably in the hundreds who are missing a payout. Every day new people show up, stating they just realized they didn't get their payout on Feb 4, trusting Ebay that it would be deposited. And most Canadian sellers don't even know this forum exists, so they may think they are all alone in not getting paid.
That's why i suggested taking this story to social media, Reddit etc to get the word out. There is something very fishy going on. If it happens again, on another date, i will put my listings on time away and wait and see. The only thing worse than no sales is sales that you ship and don't get paid for.......lose item, lose shipping cost.
It would be nice, in the current spirit of Canadian unity, that the powers that be at Ebay Canada, made an official comment about this situation, instead of this idiotic stonewall.

Still missing the Feb 4th payment here as well. Other payments since then have deposited fine.

devon@ebay - Why will ebay not respond/take responsibility and most importantly pay us our money? What would you do if you worked almost two weeks now without being paid??? The lack of communication is becoming one of the most frustrating parts about this. Pay us OUR money!

And i would add.......not getting paid and not knowing if you will ever get paid.
This is an embarassing disgrace on Ebay Canada management. Shame on them.

One of the problems is that we don't know how many other sellers are in this situation, 20, 50, 1000?
One thing is for sure, Ebay wants us to make as little noise as possible, and hope that, as usual, the small Canadian sellers will forget and move on, I won't.
Please keep this thread alive so that the Ebay officers see it every day.

I was not affected, I got my transfer, but I must admit it's an extremely serious issue. Some here are occasional sellers, so missing 20 or 50 bucks will not make a big diffrence, but what about people who expected a transfer of thousands of dollars they needed to pay their bills or feed their families? It's really scary, especially - as it seems - Ebay doesn't provide a quick and appropriate solution. ☹️

i'm not a lawyer, but i have been doing some reading on digital/electronic fraud and this situation would seem to qualify.
-A large number of people effected (over 20 and probably more, perhaps many more)
-people from several different Provinces effected
-unfulfilled promises of remuneration (CS has many times told us it will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours none of which has come true)
-and a large amount of money involved (while individual payouts vary in size greatly, the total is no dobut in the thousands if not tens, or even hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on how many people are actually missing their payouts)
Since it does effect people from several different Provinces, it would seem that the RCMP would be the ones to contact? Seems a bit drastic at the moment, but if this drags on much longer....
