New Sellers's Survey From Ebay

So just received a new seller's survey from eBay.  Just finished completing it.  I have received many surveys in the past, but they have always been the same one. This one was different. Asked a lot of new questions for a seller.  Answered it truthfully but it was not very positive. Gave a lot of my personal observations & suggestions.  Don't know if it will make any difference but who knows. Maybe they are concerned because of all the backlash they are receiving lately from all the recent changes.

It's been 2-3 years now since I have given much positivity to an eBay seller survey. eBay has given me little to no reason to be very favorable towards them in these surveys.

I have been selling on eBay for over 20 years, and I have never once received a survey. Do you have to sign up for it?

I receive surveys via email but have never "signed up" for anything....

I also don't have a store on eBay....

Not as far as I know, but ...

You have to have certain types of communication allowed in your eBay profile settings.

I think I've been asked a couple of times in 15 years (not counting the forum followup surveys).

I'm thinking to get on "the list" for a request to fill in the survey it's either entirely random or extremely selective as to who receives. Remember when you used to always get those "How did we do" surveys after you called eBay? They may be afraid of the actual responses they got back. I haven't seen anything in years.

I get the post phone calls surveys every time, (around 6 I guess) but I've never filled them out.

i agree  this new survey was a lot better than ones in the past and gives you a chance to vent on what they ebay is doing wrong  everyone should fell this one out and really be honest in their feelings about selling on ebay -- i know nothing will get done but at least there is chance that someone  in power may take heed and listen to the real backbone of this site ---- the sellers

this is the fourth survey i have been asked to fill out in the last 2 years  not sure why you don't get one i thought all sellers received this  survey -- this one is the best they have sent me -- one of the very few things they have done right

the survey you are replying to was back in 2019, we are in 2022.

i get a survey about every 6 months or so -- each one is a little better than the last asking important sellers questions  usually 40/50 1-10 type questions 1 being hate 10 being love etc  not sure why as a seller you didn't get asked to fill out the survey - maybe it has something to do with having a store account -- not sure -- but the last one about three weeks ago was a good one -- i sure nothing will change because of this survey - but we all like to dream that it could improve things
