No test bank deposit prior to activation of MP?

When I registerd for MP it mentioned that a micro payment test deposit will be done but my MP went live today and I have not seen anything in the bank account I used for MP.

Have you guys seen a test deposit when you registered and prior to activation?

No test bank deposit prior to activation of MP?

Hi, I signed up for MP end of April and my test deposits were in my account next morning. Just 2 deposits of a few pennies each.

I set up MP 6-7 weeks ago and never was asked for test deposits. I was on 30 day hold for payments because it was on a new eBay ID started in January this year. I only list on eBay Canada. All payments and fees in Canadian dollars.

I also have a second selling ID started in January and just converted to MP a few days ago. Only extra was asked for birthday. On 30 day hold for payments. No test deposit needed.

The eBay ID is on eBay.ca listing in Canadian dollars. All fees in Canadian dollars.

This ID was forced into MP so I had to convert once they froze new listings.

Both IDs are selling low value used personal items with some new. Prices are with free shipping Canada USA no international and under $25 typically.

My other ID above post had no issues with MP. Shipping is with Canada Post using discount mint postage stamps. Never use eBay shipping, PayPal shipping or others mentioned here in forums.

This account was activated on or about April 20th.

My weekly payouts were successfully sent and received on April 27th and May 4th.

It was not until May 7th that a micro deposit of 0.01 was finally received.

When did you have up until to pay it back?

I had a charge come through for a promoted listing. Charge was 0.06. You would think those fees would be attached to either the actual transaction or as an add on to monthly invoice. No such luck. It was charged to my bank account!!!! Somehow I think that is bad accounting!!!

There's a song by Prism called Nickels and Dimes. With eBay you need to watch yours!!!

@lotzofuniquegoodies

At this time it appears the penny is mine to keep. As I haven't seen a penny gum-ball machine for years and years I've not spent the money yet.

Yup, those PL ad fees are debited pretty quick. It would be a nice gesture if they would delay processing those until the sale proceeds are available to pay the bill.

When all the information was first relayed with regards to MP, (almost a year ago) ecetera's/addons were going to be added to your monthly invoice. Listing upgrades, promotion fees and similar. Suddenly that became null and void with them billing everything immediately. As mentioned previously because of each transaction becoming a transaction onto itself or squashed together with another random transaction its very difficult to follow along, now Canadian sellers risk the possibilty of bank fees because of it. Atleast with PayPal it was itemized in a format that was easy to find what you were looking for if you needed to.

The back and forth on postage and options for creating postage has been the same say. That changed several times.

Now sellers are trying to figure out how best to set up their account for US funds. What may be a necessity for one may not be for someone else. And then to implement something after many have enrolled with the disclaimer limited time only...If ya didn't enroll originally, tough noogies all makes MP a major head scratcher or basically bait and switch or words eBay likes to use, Not as described.
