From ebay MP info.
How will I pay for my shipping labels when eBay manages my payments?
You may choose to pay for shipping labels by having the costs deducted from your earnings, in addition to using a PayPal account.
I use neither to pay for postage so....
OK does that mean I can now only pay for shipping via ebay?
I like my well trained postal elephant, and it gets me out of my cell for a coupe of hours .

As marnotom! said, I am still putting stamps on the envelopes.
When I need tracking, or have to use a label, I still use postage, but make a special trip to the PO and pay cash for the rest of the postage and the barcoded sticker.
I could have exact postage on the envelope and still get the sticker, but my arithmetic is not up to fuel surcharges and GST.
Oh.
GST.
Since the stamps are considered by the PO to have had the GST paid on purchase, many years ago by some poor soul who thought buying from Philatelic Fulfillment was an "investment", I don't pay that on the full face value of the stamps.

If I use ebay labels the money comes out of the same bank account where I get my payouts deposited. I don't think that the Canadian labels can be taken directly from PP like it can be done in the US. I don't know if they can be paid for through other sources.
Of course you can print your labels somewhere else or go to the post office to buy them...its up to you.

Whatever works for you.
For Canada Post:
* ebay Labels -- subtracted from your outstanding payment balance (or if no money available, bank account or credit card). If you go this label route, I recommend weekly MP payouts, backed by a credit card.
* Shippo -- payments from PayPal (credit card might be an option), will update ebay ship info
* Canada Post's SnapShip (credit card only)
* post office/outlet (using stamps)
* post office/outlet (using real money)
* 3rd party discounters

Yep as Femme says "stamps on the box" is aok still, no change from how it was before MP.
Shipping marked manually for non tracked, tracking added manually same as before.

Slightly off-topic:

Can we attach a credit card (for payouts in emergencies) to an MP account?

If we can set up a credit card with our MP account so that it takes money from there if there is no pending payments for labels etc, how and where do we do that? I thought that I saw it another time but can't seem to find it now.

Quess I was not very clear on what I was asking.
Does MP auto deduct the shipping cost from your payment sent to your bank like it does for seller fees?
Or Only deduct those shipping cost IF you use the ebay shipping payment option.
Do not want to lose shipping costs/fees to MP If i am not using it to buy postage re: CP directly.
Don't want to end up paying shipping twice.
enquiring mind want to know.
