How many of you fellow Canadians are SILVER level powersellers?

I saw a story on a toronto woman on the news tonight and it was talking about her Ebay career blah blah blah and then something caught my attention. The news reported stated that she was on of just a few Canadian Ebay sellers at the Silver powerseller level.

Zaaa? Only a few? Am I that priveledged??

If you're silver, drop a note on here, I want to see how many there really are out there! I thought there would be a bunch!!

I read a post earlier this evening on the US PS board that stated that the writer had spoken to someone at eBay who said that they're actually rethinking the fee increase. The person suggested that PowerSellers should phone their eBay representative.

As a humble bronze level member I'm unable to do this because I don't qualify for the phone support but perhaps some silver level phone calls would help encourage this rethinking.

Incidentally another thread on the US board suggested that all the store closures could be having the desired affect as eBay is now calling PS store owners to ask them their intentions.

I know, the same old grumpy complainer with all the solutions for everyone else, thats me coloured bronze, or silver or whatever.

I am now on my way to loosing it. My eBay sales have been realy poor this January and I am not pleased with the new fee structure so I may just wholesale my instruments to ther Power Sellers.

I am silver, but I think i will be bronze soon. Sales have been so slow for me lately 😞

I am gold powerseller but have achieved that only lately. I was silver for quite sometime.

It doesn't feel any different to except you get more deadbeats who bid, threaten to give you negative feedback if you don't give them discount or some cocked up story. do not pay and worse they do not pay taxes. And Yes, I get this from Canadian customers not from USA buyers.

I am getting so fed up with that I thinking only selling to USA and International customers.

i found it is kind of "bs"
I sold lot of items, but some of them is non-paid , and ebay count it as well, so, i have no idea that i'm a real silver or not...

Hello everyone! Been lurking a long... long time! Finally coming out to say hi and celebrate with all you silver powersellers! Made it to SILVER level just this month but I have been a powerseller for about 4 months now.
I just opened up a store - so we'll be seeing how that goes in the months to come. 😉 But for now, I celebrate!

I have been 'demoted' to Silver from Gold a few months ago.

There is no any noticeable difference whatsoever between both 'levels'.

that's all I have to say.

This little guy became bronze a couple months ago, but now I went and sold a car so I will be silver next month.

The funny part is, like someone else said, "noone even knows your level unless you tell them, it will always say that you are just a powerseller.

Therefor if you want to be gold or platinum its all yours, just make the claim that you are lol.

I have been a Silver power seller for a couple of years now. I hope to hit gold in a year or two. Having an ebay store really helps.
