I have a simple question here:
Currently I'm selling digital FTA receivers, since I list all items in CAN$, so almost all my buyers are canadians, do you think I can attract more US buyers by listing in US$?
Actually the benefit of listing in CAN$ is that I buy those stuff from the wholesellers in CAN$, so it's easy for me to manage accounting stuff.
Thanks

I did benefit in having a few US customers who, for instance, bought something for $20.00 Canadian and would pay me $20.00 US because they couldn't be bothered with the hassle.
Another perk in selling in US funds is that your item looks less expensive. If you listed an item for $12 Canadian it may not sell, but list it at $9.99 USD (almost $12 Canadian) then there's a better chance it'll sell.
Alex.

I sell all over the world - everyone understands US dollars - no hassles, no conversion explanations, etc.

Also, I don't have to do a lot of conversion and messing around when calculating GST, and filing my taxes... 🙂
