I have had 2 problems paying the same seller for multiple purchases. The payment option is blocked until the seller totals the shipping costs. My problem lies in the fact that it is free shipping and no shipping costs are involved. I've tried to pay a few times for each and it comes up with the same blockage. I had the seller cancel the 1st payment of 9 items, but am confused again by the 2nd incident.

Seller didn't refund me as we negotiated. I opened the claim and now he demand to close this claim. He said, he couldn't refund me, because his account was hold by Paypal. He demand to close claim and after that he'll refund me all. Is his action correct? What I need to do in such situation?

The message I received from eBay says that a payment was issued on a particular date and is being processed. What should I do? How long should I wait until I send the item? How long does it usually take for payments to clear through PayPal? Also, do buyers see the same message on their end so they are understand why an item is not sent immediately? Thanks!

It was my first time selling an item on ebay. After the auction was over I emailed the customer to ask which type of shipping they wanted. I haven't heard back from them. Is there a time limit for payment? Thanks, Diane

IT SHOCKED ME WHEN I LOGGED IN TO MY EBAY AND CHECK AWAITING PAYMET TO SEE IF I WON MY BID AND IT SHOWS ZERO, HOWEVER A SELLER OPEN A CASE FOR ANY UNPAID ITEM FROM FEB 19TH 2013. I BID ON SEVERAL ITEMS ON THAT DATE AND I WON TWO FROM THE SAME SELLER WHO OPEN A CASE ON ONLY 1 ITEMS. YET WHEN I LOGGED INTO PAYBAL ON FEB 19TH IT SHOWS ME ALL ITEM I WON AND PAID FOR SINCE THEN I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL ITEM EVEN YESTURDAY AND NOT ONCE ON AWAITING PAYMENT SHOWS ANY UNPAID ITEM. I TRIED REVIEWING MY PAYBAL AND IT SHOWS TRANSACTION WHY I PAID ALL. ANYWAYS I WENT AHEAD AND PAID THE SELLER FOR THE ITEM HE CLAIMED THAT IT WASNT PAID. HE EMAIL ME TODAY AND THANKED ME FOR THE PAYMENT. I COUNT ON MY EBAY AND ALWAYS CHECK on AWAITING PAYMENT OPTIONS JUST SO TO AVOID THIS PAYMENT. SO, PLEASE TRY TO BE SURE THAT OPTIONS WORK PROBABLY AS TO AVOID THIS PROBLEMS.

I made an order and paid for it, after I paid I received an email from the company telling me they will needed my phone number for customs. On the same email was told about ups broker fees and other charges that I didn't know about. Those charges have made the overall price ridiculous and for that reason I want to cancel. I called the company and customers service said they would pass it on to packaging and try to stop it. I have been trying to contact paypal but there is no place to send an email, I can't use the phone I have severe hearing loss. This is a simple situation where they could return my money but I cant talk to any one. Any advice or help would be much appreciated muckle2261

Hello, when I click "make a one time payment using paypal" it usually always works. Including earlier today. No matter what the amount is. Now when I click "make a one time payment", then click pay it says " Excessive Payment Amount This amount exceeds the payment limits on the account." This is for $2.21 payment. Why is it telling me this.

When looking at the cost of an item in eBay which is listed in US dollars it shows me the equivalent value in Canadian dollars. When I pay for it in PayPal it is different again. It appears that EBay uses a different rate of exchange than PayPal. Can you not show the same currency conversion rate that PayPal uses to give buyers and sellers a truer expectancy of the item costs?

When linking to paypal to see payments made there is a notice at the top that says, transaction ID invalid, and the payments are not showing up at all in my paypal account although ebay says the payments were made. Help!

I just sent an item overseas for 52 dollars mail. The customer gave me 52 dollars. I get nothing of that 52 dollars. E bay charges me 10 % of the money he paid for mail. That comes off the seven dollars i made on item. The listing fee was another 6 dollars. I lost 3 dollars and e bay took it all. Paying a fee for mail is beyond anything any business in the world would do., How do you get that money back. E bay told me to raise selling price the tax they collect. amazing!!!

This is my first purchase attempt, ever, using eBay eBay only allows payment using paypal. All paypal info I entered has been verified correct. Repeated attempts to pay have failed. Neither eBay nor Paypal agents can solve issue. Am I crazy, or can this be fixed someway?

Hi I wanted to purchase an item, approx $12.00 on Ebay.ca through paypal, the method of payment gives me two choices, credit card or debit card, yet it will not accept a debit card. Is the mothod of payment only CREDIT CARDS, I`m sure I purchased other items and was able to use my debit card. Please advise. Thank you Rosie

Hi everyone, I'm interested in an item offered, however the seller does not offer Paypal, even though his listing (somewhat) states otherwise. I think this is more due to an Ebay limitation. In the description, the he has clearly stated that he doesn't accept Paypal. Feeling curious, I decided to message the seller, asking what payment options he does accept. He listed interac email transfer, bank deposit or hyperwallet. I believe Ebay will not cover me if something goes wrong and I'm left with nothing. My questions to you, fellow buyers, is there a way I can guarantee or secure my purchase?

hi every, i won a watch auction for a watch but some reason the transaction was declined on my credit card. now the seller has blocked my id and i am unable to bid again for the item. is there any i can get my off the blocked list. can only make payment via credit card. no paypay. any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I have recently run into a problem with a seller who has opened a Unpaid Item Claim. The situation is I commited to buying a item from a seller in Hong Kong, after messenging him about the item I felt comfortable enough to buy the item. I even asked if he shipped to P.O.Box addresses (The ONLY type of address available in my area.) which he agreed he could do. So commited to the buy, waited for the invoice then went to pay. I then get the message say 'Seller does not ship to P.O.Box Addresses'. I message the seller to ask what the problem was and he says that he will cancel transaction, giving no reason why. I still wanted the item but I just figured the seller was having problems on his end so I agreed and waited for the cancel transaction link he said he would send. This is the point where I start to realize that this guy/girl does not speak real great english despite previous messages. He now opens a Unpaid Item Claim. I messaged him but I cannot make any sense to what the seller is trying to say and I'm not even sure he understands me anymore either. He keeps saying that he has closed the claim but it is not closed. *SIGH* Anybody got any advice? Just remember paypal prevents me from paying for the item to prevent to transaction from completeing and I no longer feel comfortable buying this item anymore either.

Hi there, My buyer has been trying to pay for 2 days now and no matter how I invoice she keeps getting the same message:"One or more of the items below cannot be purchased because the seller has not specified shipping costs to location selected." She purchased a dress listed on the Ebay.ca site and shorts that were listed on Ebay.com. Both items will ship from NS to Sask for 17.47 in same mailer. When I invoiced one as 17,47 shipping and the other free, both items came up as free. When I split the invoice charging 10.00 for one item, and 7,47 for the other she got the message above and shipping showed as 28.00! I just sent 2 new invoices this morning at buyer's request but I'm afraid the same thing will happen again. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? Thanks!! Sebim

I called PayPal customer service and spoke to a PayPal shipping "specialist" who sounded confident in his answer to my question: What shipping service do I use to ship shoes I sold on eBay using PayPal shipping labels? His answer: Since you live in Canada, you cannot mail the shoes through PayPal.........unless you live in the U.S. !!!!!???????!!!!!!??????? I don't understand why PayPal offers shipping labels after all if that's the correct answer. I need clarification, please! I was very frustrated after speaking to 3 different reps, 30 min later....without a legit answer. Heavy accent didn't help either:S

I sold a pair of ankle boots in a box. It's from Canada going to a US destination. Now trying to make a shipping label using PayPal (first attempt) but the PayPal customer service centre was of ZERO (spoke to three different reps with heavy accents) help and they had no idea what I was asking. I simply wanted to know what service type to choose from the drop down menu (ie. Light Packet USA, USA Small Packet, Expedited Parcel-USA, etc.). This is a shoe box weighing approx 2lbs. At the post office, the scale showed 92.4 (forgot what unit it was in). On eBay, shipping for this item was: Standard International Shipping. Also, it says Canada Post next to Carrier....is that correct or do I have to change it to UPS? Any help is appreciated!
