What happens now that orders are in the mail with a possible expected delivery date of September 30 and early October, what happens if not received there is no way of knowing whether these items will be received after strike is over. Will eBay delay delivery date?

I see Kelowna (BC) has now been added (6am PT it says).
So so far today it is Toronto (still) and Kelowna now.

The information about today's strike location is right at the top of the CUPW site.
Kelowna BC has been added to the places on strike.

The size of the Toronto work force at 9,000. and having the strike on two successive days in Toronto puts the concept of rotating strikes into a difficult situation
"Rotating" doesn't mean "a different set of locations everyday". If the set of picket locations changes every two or three days, it's still a rotating strike.

Calgary (AB) has been added as a city on strike ....... effective 6:00 PM, MT, October 24
This adds Calgary to Toronto (ON) and Kelowna (BC) that are already on strike...

October 25, 2018..... Rotating strike at Calgary (AB), Kelowna (BC) and Sherbrooke (QC
-----------------------------
The strike in Toronto has ended after two days. The number of postal workers in Toronto, 9,000 workers, makes Toronto a significant part of Canada Post. Two days of a strike in Toronto must have had a critical negative effect on Canada Post.

Red Deer (AB) has been added to the rotation for a strike....
About 260 workers started on strike early this morning, October 25.

For two days nothing got picked up or delivered in Toronto. Parcels would have accumulated at postal facilities. The effect in Toronto was ... local.... and restricted to local postal outlets
Mississauga has a major handling facility for Canada Post. This facility was not affected by the strike in Toronto.
Mail from Canada to the US goes through Mississauga
Mail from Canada to Europe goes through Montreal and then a location close to Montreal, that is Longueuil.

I'm west of Toronto, my stuff goes through Mississauga.
Here are 3 I'm watching, I've not had much tracked since the 19th, store is in coast mode.
To Canada: mailed Oct 19th to NF - no updates since Oct 21 saying it is in transit, Dieppe NB
To USA tracked: mailed Oct 24th. No updates since acceptance scan (processing in Mississauga is usually next day).
To International tracked: mailed Oct 24th. No updates since acceptance scan (processing in Mississauga is usually next day).
I've noticed that tracking for USA packages in the USA mailed earlier than the 19th are behind, ie there are updates on the USPS site that are not on CP yet. This has happened in the past so may not indicate anything, or it may indicate they're slower than normal updating CP stuff.
I'll keep an eye on these going forward...have one going out today as well to USA so will watch it too...

I believe that Red Deer and Sherbrooke were out on Thursday.
According to the CUPW site today:
The following CUPW locals are on strike:
10-26-2018 01:26 PM
Mailed an item in Red Deer on Wednesday which would normally have been scanned in Calgary late Wednesday evening. It was obviously in limbo somewhere though as it wasn't scanned until this morning.
I don't normally pay much attention to tracking on my parcels but I thought that in the past, some of the packages that went to the US first went to Ontario and then south. I may not be remembering correctly or perhaps something has changed as I just checked my packages in the past couple of months and all of the US ones went to Calgary and then San Francisco. That's good news as it means that only rotating strikes in Alberta should affect my US parcels.

My parcels to California would (sometimes )go to a facility in Richmond south of Vancouver and then to California
Canada Customs are located in Mississauga (ON) and Richmond (BC)
