Recently, we announced plans to phase out the Shipping Supplies coupon from our Store subscription benefits over the course of this year. This decision was made with the intention of reallocating resources for future enhancements to the overall seller experience. However, after listening to your invaluable feedback, we have realized that we did not get this right.
Our team has engaged in meaningful conversations with many of you on the importance this coupon plays in supporting your success on eBay, especially for those inremote areas of Canada. Yoursuccess is our top priority, and we are committed to doing what is best for our sellers.
Iam pleased to announce that we will continue to offer the Shipping Supplies coupon for our Canadian Store subscribers. There is no action required onyour part to qualify for future coupons. As long as you maintain your Store subscription, you

I am truly shocked by this announcement. In the 26 years I've been here the number of backtracking events can be counted on one hand.

Maybe  Gary will backtrack on the Coded Coupons that sellers have been asking for since??? (2020?)

Seeing as the announcement refers to "reallocating" rather than "allocating" resources, I sounds like sellers were going to get back some stuff they lost a while ago.  Any ideas what that might be?

It is the fastest "Volte-Face" I have ever seen on eBay Canada

I wonder if it was more "Profitable" not to cancel the Shipping Coupon "Benefit" in the first place because "reallocating" those resources may have ended up costing more to the bottom line if more people "used" them more than they do the Shipping Coupon...

eBay never retracts unless it's to their shareholder's benefit.

Maybe, if we get a better selection of packaging materials, I may use a future coupon, otherwise, I will use up the pile of eBay packaging sitting in boxes here and there in my basement.

I have not used a shipping coupon since Oct 2020 I must save eBay money by not using the coupon...

Thanks for contacting eBay Customer Service today. It is understood that you wish to utilize a coupon for eBay Store Subscription Benefits for shipping supplies. There was a notice sent to our Canadian Members that effective February 28, 2025, store subscribers will no longer receive quarterly shipping supply coupons. This is why it is not possible to locate the coupon on eBay.ca. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

If you check the announcement (as it now reads) regarding the coupon for April the note about an increased amount for value is MIA. Revising took place at some point. As per note at bottom please stay tuned.   This message will self destruct in 10, 9, 8, 7.....

I got mine on April 9th - I got no emails nor ebay messages, but if you haven't already looked there, go to the "summary" in the my ebay dropdown and it should be there.

You'll have to copy it to use it at least for me it did not populate automagically into the shopping cart check out....
