my sales these last two weeks are one sale for 12 days -- and a small sale at that -- slowest its been in 2 months -- my impressions and look sees are all in the red so they are down quite a bit -- i have reduced all my items by 65% off my already low prices for two days so maybe i can get a few sales and with free expedited shipping i am hoping to get enough to stay ahead of fees and rent for my locker -i have closed my etsy account as i was not getting paid for over 150 dollars of (4)sales over a four week pattern and after many many attempts to fix nothing was done so i guess i will burn for 150 dollars which now drives my expenses up for this month by alot --- my ebay account is working quite smoothly and have had no lost listings except a couple which is better than hundreds as in before so knock on wood about that --- just trying to get enough sales this month to cover expenses still at 1850 listings with about 25 listings to import from new items i have found from an old box in back of my locker
hope everyone else is doing better than iam --the weekend approaches so maybe a sale ot two will come there ,with no holiday too through things off
good luck everyone
have a great summer

Rather normal. This is a pattern which I observe since many years here - look at my sales graph:

Last July I had 17 sales. This July to date 11. Difference being the those 17 sales had 4 times the value. Along with the number of sales going down, average value per transaction keeps sliding lower. If you sell a variety of items there will likely never be any consistency especially when eBay is always tinkering under the hood with sellers not knowing what tinkering entails.
July 12, 2022 to July 12, 2023 - 209 Transactions
July 12, 2023 to July 12, 2024 - 180 Transactions
Order value difference = -24%

Back to normal after two weeks of very slow sales which in turn followed two weeks when I was not listing much new stuff.
Based on my records my sales in June/July 2024 have been better than the same period June/July 2023 and 2022.
Mostly I think because with the improvement in the economy people are putting money into their hobbies again.
OTOH if you were selling used low end clothing, your market may have shrunk as people have more money to shop for new stuff.
Demographics differ.
Compare year to year or month to month not week to last week.
And compare both number and value of sales.
I've had busy weeks where nothing over $50 sold and slow weeks with a gross in the low thousands.
